Today we're shipping the biggest update to Akademe's home experience since we launched. The static home screen is gone, in its place is a fully customisable widget dashboard you can shape to fit exactly how you study.

12 widgets, one command centre

Every widget surfaces something different, and you choose which ones to show:

• Study Time, total focused hours logged today and this week
• Streak, your current daily study streak and longest run
• Next Exam, countdown to your closest upcoming exam
• QCM Score, your latest quiz results and trend
• Pomodoro, start a focus session directly from the dashboard
• Due Cards, flashcards due for review today
• Weekly Goal, progress toward your weekly study target
• Subject Progress, completion rate per subject
• Curriculum, quick access to your full course list
• Recent Quiz, jump back into your last quiz session
• Schedule, today's study blocks at a glance
• Achievements, milestones you've reached

Drag, drop, done

Hit Customise in the top right of the dashboard to enter edit mode. Drag widgets to reposition them, toggle any off that you don't need, and hit Done when your layout is set. Your configuration is saved automatically.

Why we built this

No two students study the same way. A medical student cramming before exams needs different information at a glance than someone working through a long-term research project. The widget system lets Akademe adapt to you rather than forcing you to adapt to it.
