Last updated: March 24, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern your relationship with the Akademe application (the "Service") operated by Akademe SARL ("us", "we", or "our").
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
1. Subscriptions
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set on a monthly or yearly basis. At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the same conditions unless you cancel it or Akademe cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription through your online account management page or by contacting Akademe's customer support. A valid payment method, including a credit card, is required. You must provide accurate and complete billing information. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge Subscription fees to your chosen payment method. If automatic billing fails, Akademe will issue an invoice and require manual payment within a stated deadline.
2. Fee Changes
Akademe may modify Subscription fees at its sole discretion. Any changes will take effect at the end of the current Billing Cycle. We will provide reasonable prior notice of any changes. Continued use of the Service after fee changes take effect constitutes your agreement to the new fees.
3. Free Trial
Akademe may offer a free trial period for new subscribers. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel your trial at any time through your account settings. Only one free trial is available per user.
4. Refunds
Under European Union consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from a digital subscription within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not yet accessed the premium features. To exercise this right, contact us at support@akademe.app within this period. Outside of this statutory right, refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Akademe.

Each member has a fully independent account — their study data, quiz history, progress, and calendar are completely private and not accessible to other members or the plan owner. The plan owner is responsible for the subscription fees. If the owner cancels or downgrades the plan, all member accounts will lose premium access at the end of the current billing period. Members may be removed by the owner at any time. Invitations are sent by email and the invited person must accept to join.
8. Beta Access
Users on the Beta tier have access to Akademe features at no charge during the beta period. Beta access is provided at Akademe's sole discretion and may be modified or revoked at any time.
